Who we are

Dr Matcha Studio Limited and Dr Matcha Studio (collectively, "Dr Matcha Studio") own and operate PrismPulse. Dr Matcha Studio was founded by Mengjie Fan.

Scope and summary

This policy covers PrismPulse for macOS. The app performs ranking and UI rendering locally on your device. We do not operate a PrismPulse cloud service or collect usage data on our servers.

Information you provide

PrismPulse processes inputs you enter to build and rank your market radar.

• Watchlist symbols, pins, and ordering preferences
• Attention Dial settings and display choices
• Provider selections and optional API keys

Market data connections

When you connect a live data provider, your device communicates directly with that provider. The provider may receive your IP address, request metadata, and account credentials as governed by their privacy policy.

• Polygon (WebSocket + REST fallback)
• Alpaca (WebSocket + REST snapshot)
• Finnhub (when enabled)

Demo Mode uses deterministic simulated data and does not contact external services.

On-device processing and storage

Salience scoring, stability logic, and UI rendering happen on-device. Watchlists and preferences are stored locally in Application Support. API keys are stored in macOS Keychain under provider-specific accounts.

Diagnostics and logs

PrismPulse uses local system logging to aid troubleshooting. These logs remain on your device unless you choose to share them with us or with Apple through standard macOS crash reporting.

No tracking or ads

PrismPulse does not include advertising SDKs or third-party trackers. We do not sell personal data.

Sharing and exports

If you choose to export or share outputs, those files are created at your direction and shared using destinations you control. We do not receive exported content.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Removing the app deletes locally stored data. API keys can be removed from within the app or via macOS Keychain.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not collect PrismPulse data on our servers, we do not have access to your watchlist or API keys. You control your data locally through the app and your device settings.

Security

We rely on platform-level protections provided by macOS. No system is perfectly secure, but PrismPulse is designed to minimize data exposure.

Children

PrismPulse is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we add optional cloud features or data collection, we will update this policy before those changes take effect.
